Preston's Blog

We started out the month with a trip to the tree farm (which is probably less than 2 miles from our house) to cut a tree.  Everybody was really grumpy, but we survived. Preston was super excited to be the one to actually cut the tree: I don't remember which Sunday of Advent this was, but we were enjoying candles and cocoa:  Christmas Eve PJ's: Christmas morning.  Apparently I forgot to be manning the camera.    Preston, Sariah, and Dallin with their cousins on the Olcott side of the family. Preston is LOVING Cub Scouts! Silly cross-eyes. Preston's Birthday: A few pictures from November's school.  In math Preston was introduced to all 12 times tables.  We did activities to explore the patterns in the tables and then made pages in his book for each one.  We tied each times table in with one of Aesop's Fables. We did a little activity to show the relationship between the 2's, 4's, and 8's tables:
